The Best of City Churches
The City of London was known for its churches. Before the Great Fire of London in 1666 there were 110 churches in 1sq mile of land, however post 1666 only 51 were rebuilt totalling 89 today.
This walking tour you will discover the best churches the city has to offer both those rebuilt and those left in ruins... learn about those buried inside, architects behind the churches, intricate details inside some of them and famous parishioners.
